The Plough and the Stars

Tonight we went to the Abbey Theatre to see Sean O'Casey's The Plough and the Stars, a really famous play set during the Easter Rising.  It was very well acted and a great show,  but the play itself was fairly depressing.  It was incredibly cool to go see it at the Abbey, though, which is a world-renowned theatre and the place where it was originally performed. It's a small and really cool theatre and they didn't need microphones.  I went to McDonald's afterward for a late night snack since none of ate dinner.  It was much nicer with music videos playing in the background, and pricier too.

Tonight I have also discovered Pandora is "deeply, deeply sorry to say that" it doesn't function in Ireland, which has put a serious damper on my reading tonight.  Most unfortunately I have to do some reading for this SSP class.
